Nice round up of the week's Muay Thai news. I used to train Zen Do Kai and the coolest part of it was the knees and elbows.

I could never get into aerobics, the repition and sweat and hard work. But there is nothing like the rush it gives you, whatever chemicals it releases in the body its like a drug.

Thank for the above article. All martial arts are only intended for self defense. Apart from that they help in staying fit.

this would all depend entirely on you, your determination, energy, age, and overall fitness. Muay thai is very demanding as you already have experienced through the workouts. If you do the class regularly give it a couple of months, but you can shorten that time if you get really serious about it. Make sure you get enough rest, at least 8 hours a day, drink plenty of water, at least half a gallon daily, eat balanced meals (lots of fruit, veggies, meat and enough carbs), train at least 4 times a week, and always, ALWAYS give 100% of what you've got. Some people would take thermogenics for energy, but if you follow what I've written you shouldn't need them. If you keep on training, you'll see amazing results.
